My Love, My Phantom

The atmosphere of this wallpaper says a lot about the emotional state that I am in or have been in for some time now .. I don't really care for Valentine's day but I wanted to participate in this event because it seemed like a fun thing to do kekeke

This wallpaper has a conceptual theme .. I named it "My Love, My Phantom" because the concept is being in love with a Phantom. In the wallpaper, The phantom (Ruki) is more visible than the woman who looks like a phantom herself; that is because she is losing her self and losing touch of reality because of her love for him. Day by day he is becoming more of a reality to her than reality itself. The colors I chose are dark enough to portray the dark and twisted mental state of this woman and how terrifying it is; but also there are bright, vibrant and beautiful colors which can portray her madness and how wonderful she feels when in love and in that state of illusionary happiness.

Dreaming is exquisite, but there comes a time when you become afraid of how it makes you feel.
